Waterdog Surf was borne from research showing that what surfers want from the surf brands is vastly different than what they are getting.  Surfers want a brand that is environmentally responsible and socially conscious, as well as provides technology that helps enhance their surfing experience.  What they get is a bunch of contests and sponsorships of a few "elite" surfers.

So, Waterdog Surf is making clothes from the most environmentally responsible means available.  Our message is to simply treat others as you would want to be treated.  Our technology includes a Wet Suit Hanger Rinser which should be released sometime in 2008, and we have broader plans to research and evaluate surfboard performance in a quantifiable and unbiased manner, allowing you, the surfer, to make the best equipment purchasing decision possible.

Waterdog's founders consist of outdoor enthusiasts , and specifically enjoy surfing.  With headquarters in Huntington Beach, CA you can find president Aric Plumley in lineups in Newport, HB, and Bolsa Chica year round.

Matt Knebl has a long history on the slopes and occasionally makes his way out into the lineup. 

Ryan Redenbaugh, when not training for the next Triathlon, can be found at his home break at Bolsa Chica, or HB cliffs.

Sure, we don't actually "sponsor" anyone by giving them money or a license to burn jet fuel to surf breaks all over the planet, but we do have a few post adolescent gremmies that love to get their picture taken.  They're not as "good" as other surf teams, that is if you believe in judging others' surfing, but these guys love to surf, and they're just good guys.
