Aric is an avid surfer, accomplished engineer, and founder of
Waterdog Engineering,
Inc.
who resides in Huntington Beach with his beautiful wife Erin and loyal
Australian Cattle Dog, McCoy. When not working on the next cool project, Aric
can be found at a number of Orange County surf breaks riding one of the eclectic
boards from his quiver. Aric is affectionately called “drunk monkey” for his
flailing “surf style” and willingness to let it all hang out.
In addition to founding Waterdog Engineering, Inc., Aric
envisioned a surf brand that is founded on all of the
"good" parts of surfing. While the term "good" is very
subjective, Waterdog Surf has taken the approach of
emphasizing global tenets that apply universally to most
cultures and societies. Founded primarily on the ethic
of reciprocity, otherwise known as "The Golden Rule",
Waterdog Surf apparel touts slogans that emphasize
treating others as you would like to be treated.
